Copake Country Club is a well loved establishment, anchoring the lakeside social scene from weekenders to full-timers alike. The club is home to world class golf, inventive fine dining, and a multitude of seasonal events, drawing patrons from New York City, Boston, and everywhere in between. As such, the space needed to expand to comfortably meet all of this demand. Our team was honored to take on the job, and we are proud of how we were able to bring a fresh perspective while respecting the history and perfectly cultivated casual elegance present in the space.

This job required a major overhaul, and we completed it in a record 10 weeks in order to meet the demands of the club's peak summer season. Over the spring months of 2023, we converted an old pro shop (that was frankly stealing the best views) into a breathtaking bar and deck space, complete with a dark soapstone counter, warm wood barstools, and sloping cathedral ceilings. We repositioned the pro shop to a new build on the lower level, more appropriately housed next to the fleet of golf carts and housing a much needed commercial grade refrigerator servicing the restaurant and bar. We shifted a row of old bathrooms toward the back of the property, resulting in 5 gorgeous private restrooms and an all-glass breezeway that now welcomes guests into the club.
